Must see films of all time!!

It’s an oldie (1994), given … but if you haven’t yet seen this film, you need to ask yourself “what have you been doing with your life?”, and if you have, why not watch it again. Only Tarantino’s second film, but still one of his best by far.

With an all-star cast, with some of the biggest names including Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, Bruce Wilis, Uma Thurman, Tim Roth, among others. And in true Tarantino fashion, also includes himself in a small role, despite his arguably TERRIBLE acting skills, but it wouldn’t be a trademark without it.

This movie has a bit of everything to satisfy all types of viewers. Filled with dry, often dark humour, and plenty of action and twists to keep you on your toes throughout. Coupled with the unorthodox timeline in which the story is told, this film will keep you captivated even when you know it inside out. It’s your classic gangster movie, with guns, violence, drugs and crime, but that’s not to take away from the underlying substance. The film has you asking questions about how you would approach certain situations in life, for example how to deal with morality, faith, loyalty as well as self-preservation and respect.

If nothing else, this movie is worth watching just to see Travolta and Jackson in their rediculous haircuts, yet still effortlessly pulling off the “don’t mess with me” tough-guy image. To top it all off, this film comes with (in my opinion) one of the best soundtracks of all time.
